Dance On Point Policies & Terms

Congratulations on your decision to participate in our dance program! With the help of Dance On Point, you will greatly improve your ability to accomplish your dance goals faster, safer, and with maximum benefits. The details of our dance sessions can be used for a lifetime. In order to maximize progress, it will be necessary for you to follow program guidelines, terms, & policies before and during your dance session. We plan that every effort will be made to assure the overall safety and getting the best out of your experience with Dance On Point.

Privacy and Safety

Dance On Point – Covid-19 Policies

Because we are a mobile dance service and we do not have a physical location as of yet.

We ask that everyone who is participating to have their temperatures check before our dance sessions. If anyone temperature is 100.4 or higher, we will not be having a dance session and you can contact me for a makeup dance session. This is for the safety of yourself and the staff. Staff will always check their temperature before entering your location.
If anyone in your home is sick, please allow 10 days before having a dance session within your home.
It is recommended that everyone should wear a mask in indoor spaces. However, if we are in your home for the dance sessions it will be up to you if you want to wear a mask or not. But the dance instructor will have her mask on.
If we are at a location that is not your home and if they're a lot of people in the area to which we are practicing at, it is recommended that everyone should wear a mask.

General Terms & Liability

Participation in any Dance On Point, LLC activity and use of any recreational facilities involves a risk of accidental injury despite all safety precautions. Having been informed of the activities conducted by the Dance On Point (DOP), I/we, as an individual or as a parent or guardian of the participants named herein, assume all risks and hazards incidental to the activities, volunteers and all employees for any illness or injury to me or any person/s, or my children or family members occurring during his/her/our participation in any activity or use of any recreational facility at or conducted by the Dance On Point, LLC.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:

There is no refund on dance class/lessons nor choreography dance for any reasons.
All cancellation must be done within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson time.
In the event you need to reschedule, please email or text us in advance at least 24 hours.

Because Dance On Point is a Mobile Dance Service – it is our requirement that an adult or guardian be present during our dance session if we are working with kids ages: 5 to 7.

Payment Policy

All Dance On Point tuition & fees payments are non-refundable & non transferable

Full Payment is due on or before 1st Rehearsal or 50% of payment on or before the 1st dance rehearsal and remaining amount due within 30 days
We greatly appreciate customers setting up payment arrangements (if desire) before any dance session.

Reseduleing Dance Session

Students or clients who miss or have to reschedule a dance session will have the opportunity to make it up. Students or clients will have to reschedule within 30 days.

Dance On Point Mobile Service

Students & Dance On Point (owner) will schedule a meet & greet or Free Dance Consultation.

Dance Sessions

This is a Mobile Dance Service therefore here are requirement for our dance programs.

You provide the Location
Your location is ready and setup for the dance class session
Clear away anything that may hinder lesson or cause injury.
Payments must be paid in full before we conduct our dance session
- Choreography dances can be split up into 2 payments

Dress Code Requirements

Dance On Point promotes & maintains a dress code to encourage concentration and a sense of inclusiveness.

Wear comfortable workout clothing for:

Hip-Hop and Jazz -

Tennis shoes, jazz sneakers, and support sneakers

Lyrical & Contemporary dance - leotard and jazz shoes.
Ballroom - yoga or gym outfits, leggings & comfortable shirt. Shoes that are secure on the feet. If you are wearing heels for your performance, we will practice in them our last 2 rehearsals.
Female students should wear their hair tightly secured and styled away from the face; a neat bun is preferred.
Watches, jewelry, and safety pins should not be worn during dance sessions.

Notifications of weather cancellations will be text & proposes of a re-schedule dance lesson.

Dance On Point desires to maintain a positive effort in our work, we will seek every effort to make any correction of a problematic situation before terminating enrollment.

Reasons for termination of enrollment include the following:

Disruptive or dangerous behavior by students or their parents
Abuse language of children, parents, and/or guardian
Area is not set up for dance session
Non-payment of service
Not following our policies & procedures

Bad Weather - Weather Cancellations

Only water is allowed during dance session.
No food, drinks, or gum
We love babies and young children and appreciate the chance to meet our students’ siblings. However, our priority is the safety of every child on any premises.
Never speak negatively about teachers, students, or parents
All students must show respect for their teachers always. Inappropriate behavior could result in cancel lessons or termination from Dance On Point – Dance Service.

Permissions

I hereby grant permission to take pictures, videos, etc. for the use of promoting Dance On Point brand & showcase your talent.
Please make sure that your information you provided is correct.
You will be emailed with your monthly and/or weekly statements.
