Cancellation and Refund Policies:
Welcome to Dance On Point!
Congratulations on taking the first step toward achieving your dance goals! With Dance On Point by your side, you'll be able to progress faster, more safely, and with lasting results. The techniques, choreography, and guidance you receive through our sessions are designed to benefit you for a lifetime.
To ensure the best possible experience and maximize your growth, we kindly ask that you review and follow our program guidelines, terms, and policies before and during your sessions.
Your safety, satisfaction, and success are our top priorities, and we’re committed to making your journey with Dance On Point both rewarding and enjoyable.
Dance On Point – COVID-19 Policies
As a mobile dance service without a physical studio location, Dance On Point takes every precaution to prioritize the health and safety of our clients and staff.
Please review the following guidelines:

Temperature Checks:
All participants are required to check their temperature before each dance session. If anyone has a temperature of 100.4°F or higher, the session will be canceled for safety reasons. You may contact us to reschedule a makeup session. The instructor will also check her temperature prior to arriving at your location. -
Illness Policy:
If anyone in your household is sick or has shown symptoms of illness, please wait at least 10 days before scheduling or hosting a dance session in your home. -
Mask Guidelines (In-Home):
While masks are recommended in indoor settings, it is your choice whether to wear a mask during in-home sessions. The dance instructor will always wear a mask while inside your home. -
Mask Guidelines (Public Locations):
If your session is held in a public or shared indoor space with other people present, masks are strongly recommended for everyone participating.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping everyone safe and ensuring a positive dance experience for all.
Liability Waiver and Acknowledgment of Risk
Participation in any Dance On Point, LLC activity or use of any related facilities involves a risk of accidental injury, despite all reasonable safety precautions.
By participating in activities conducted by Dance On Point (DOP), I/we—whether as a participant, or as the parent or legal guardian of a participant—acknowledge and assume all risks and hazards associated with such activities.
I/we hereby release and hold harmless Dance On Point, LLC, including its instructors, staff, and volunteers, from any and all liability for illness, injury, or other harm that may occur to me, my child(ren), or any family members during participation in DOP programs or while using facilities associated with Dance On Point, LLC.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds for dance classes, lessons, or choreography services under any circumstances.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session time.

If you need to reschedule, please contact us via email or text at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing your session.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting our time and scheduling policies.
Adult Supervision Requirement
Because Dance On Point is a mobile dance service, it is required that a parent or guardian be present during all dance sessions when working with children ages 5 to 7.
This ensures a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for our youngest dancers.
Payment Policy
All tuition and service fees for Dance On Point are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Full payment is due on or before the first dance rehearsal,
OR
A 50% deposit is due on or before the first rehearsal, with the remaining balance due within 30 days. -
We strongly encourage clients to set up any desired payment arrangements in advance of their scheduled session to avoid delays or interruptions.

Rescheduling Dance Sessions
If a student or client needs to miss or reschedule a dance session, they will be given the opportunity to make up the session within 30 days of the original date.
All rescheduling requests must be communicated in advance and are subject to availability.

Dance On Point – Mobile Dance Service
Dance On Point is proudly operated by a single instructor, offering a personal and highly customized experience for every student. All dance sessions and choreography services are handled directly by the owner, ensuring consistency, quality, and one-on-one attention.
Before getting started, each student will schedule a Meet & Greet or a Free Dance Consultation with the instructor to discuss goals and customize the experience.
Dance Sessions – Important Requirements
As a mobile dance service, sessions are conducted at the location you provide. Please review the following requirements to ensure a smooth session:

You provide the location (home, event space, studio, etc.)

Location must be clean, safe, and ready before the session begins

Clear any obstacles to ensure a safe practice area

Payment is required in full prior to the session

Choreography packages may be split into two payments if needed

With Dance On Point, you're receiving focused, professional service from one dedicated dance instructor who brings passion and expertise to every session.
Dress Code Requirements
At Dance On Point, we maintain a dress code to promote focus, professionalism, and a sense of unity among our students. Wearing the appropriate attire ensures comfort, safety, and full freedom of movement during each session.
General Guidelines:

Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows for ease of movement.

Hair should be neatly secured and styled away from the face. A tight bun is preferred for female students.

No watches, jewelry, or safety pins should be worn during sessions, as they may cause injury or distraction.
Style-Specific Attire:

Hip-Hop & Jazz:
Comfortable athletic wear
Footwear: Tennis shoes, jazz sneakers, or supportive dance sneakers -
Lyrical & Contemporary:
Leotard or form-fitting dancewear
Footwear: Jazz shoes or lyrical sandals -
Ballroom:
Yoga or gym clothes (e.g., leggings and a fitted shirt)
Footwear: Secure-fitting shoes; if heels will be worn for performance, practice in them during the last two rehearsals
Bad Weather - Weather Cancellations
Weather Cancellations & Rescheduling
In the event of inclement weather, Dance On Point will notify you via text message regarding cancellations and will propose options to reschedule your dance lesson as soon as possible.
Enrollment Termination Policy
Dance On Point is committed to maintaining a positive and professional experience for all clients. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve any concerns before considering the termination of services.
However, enrollment may be terminated for the following reasons:

Disruptive or unsafe behavior by students or their parents/guardians

Abusive or inappropriate language directed at staff or other participants
-
Failure to provide a safe and suitable space for the dance session

Non-payment for services

Repeated violations of Dance On Point's policies and procedures
We value respect, safety, and collaboration in all our sessions and appreciate your cooperation in maintaining those standards.
General Policies

Policies During Dance Time

Only water is allowed during dance sessions.

No food, drinks, or gum permitted in the dance area.

We love babies and young children and appreciate meeting our students’ siblings; however, the safety of every child on the premises is our top priority.

Always speak respectfully about teachers, students, and parents. Negative comments are not tolerated.

All students must show respect to their teachers at all times. Inappropriate behavior may result in cancellation of lessons or termination from Dance On Point – Dance Service.
Permissions

I hereby grant permission for Dance On Point to take photos, videos, and recordings for promotional purposes and to showcase my talent.

Please ensure all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

You will receive your monthly and/or weekly statements via email.
